Black Lab has great food for an English pub (which can be pretty mediocre); don't forget to check out the piano bar upstairs (Cezanne's) which opens for late-night live jazz on Friday's and Saturdays. You can still order from downstairs, then, too ;)
I'd really recommend the appetizers to people who are a little unsure of what to get -- they are pretty no-miss. The desserts are also pretty delicious, too, especially the bread pudding if that's your thing.
