On Wednesdays the restaurant does half-off burgers -- they're great and pretty inexpensive on Wednesdays.
The pub is located in the heart of Rice village, so the people watching is good, pretty smart conversations abound, and there are PLENTY of other spots within walking distance.
The beer selection is nothing compared to a bar almost next door (the more highbrow Gingerman), but nevertheless is nothing to sneer at. Check this place out the next time you want a burger and a brew.
Cool spot on the Coast Highway. Service was alright. Food overall is primarily vegetarian so plenty healthy, different than most restaurants I'm used to. The pizza was okay as a vegetarian option though this wouldn't be my first pizza choice in town. The falafel sandwich was colossal and mighty tasty, however, and the nachos are a spectacle, served with real cheese, grilled onions, guac, and what tastes like a homemade chili sauce. Plenty of menu choices so even the most carnivorous should be able to find something that sounds palatable. Plenty of beers and ice creams available (depending on which is up your alley). A little warm inside so opt for the patio seating in the summertime. Overall, a decent enough spot to have a meal, and its nice to have a healthy dine-out option in town.
