Hobbit Cafe is a great, Lord of the Rings themed restaurant that has been open in the heart of Houston for ages now.
Their vegetarian options are spectacular (try the tabouli Thorin Oakenshield -- I'm serious), and meat eaters are sure to love their protein platter option (particularly the curry chicken), or the salmon burger. Basically all of their burgers are amazing, and their smoothies are nothing to get all nazgul about, either.
The service is hippy and helpful, and -- again with their theming -- the decor can't be beat if you don't totally hate Tolkien.
