One goes to a Bonanza Restaurant because it's there, it's predictable, and parking is usually readily available. I have eaten at several Bonanza Restaurants throughout the country, with varied experiences - mostly fair to good. The Oskaloosa (IA) Bonanza will provide you with a decent, fair-priced meal. It will usually be served in a reasonable time frame. What you will not receive is any semblance of decent service. Staff and management alike are usually quite ambivalent to your presence once you have been seated. Bonanza staff or managers generally visit a customer's table to ensure all is well. In Oskaloosa, expect to be patently ignored. If service is not high on your list of expectations, the Oskaloosa Bonanza will not disappoint. Caveat Emptor ! ! !
