What can I say about this place? Amazing just doesn't seem to do it justice. The food is delicious & authentic. They have a wonderful assortment of beer & wines to choose from. The atmosphere is fun. I especially love to go there in October for an Octoberfest. Mmmm.
I've been to the Rathskeller many times and have always had a great experience. I've gone as part of a wedding party to one of their private rooms, I've gone just to dine before visiting the close by Murat Theater, and I've gone with friends just to have drinks in their outdoor biergarten. Their food is rich, to die for, German, stick to your ribs goodness. I suggest the yeager schnitzel. With many beers on tap, beer lovers will be very happy here. On summer evenings or even warm spring and fall ones, you can enjoy a live band while drinking your beer outside. Or, you can enjoy the atmosphere indoors if you prefer (or it rains!). An Indy favorite that you shouldn't miss.
Last Friday, some friends and I met for our monthly ???Dining Out??? gathering at Olive???s Restaurant on K Street. We began the evening with drinks and appetizers, where some of the women experienced Olive???s renowned ???olive spread??? with their freshly baked selection of breads.
