St. Elmo's Steakhouse is an Indianapolis institution. It is a great place to go out for a nice dinner or take collegues for a business meeting. No matter what the reason for attendance you have to try the cocktail shrimp. However, a word of warning, the cocktail sauce is quite spicy and a little bit goes a long way. The wait staff is very knowledgable and can help you choose the best entree for your tastes and can also recommend a cooking time on steaks. The atmosphere is sophisticated and great for any occasion.

St. Charles hipster spot for the frat boys back from college, older crowd still trying to be young. Liquor prices are a little high, beer prices more than what I like to pay. Food is good, average Irish pub prices. Worth going to once to try to see if you like it. Overcrowded on Saturdays.
