I found this place by accident. I just drove by and felt like the tofu soup, so I went in. I was so surprised how busy they were. The food is wonderful! I love EVERY side dishes (which is rare), and the soup and the fish was just perfect. It's a little noisy and busy, but the food is definitely worth it.
My friends and I had just come back from a morning of strenuous hiking and we were HUNGRY. In my past experience, hungry stomachs make for indiscriminate taste buds but this place definitely was different. The Tofu Soup was pretty good, I must admit. (Though I also must admit that I'm no Tofu Soup expert only having had one more than 5 years ago.) But what I DO know is my Bulgogi and this bulgogi was really, quite tasteless. Now remember, I was hungry and tired...so things usually taste GREAT when I'm in this condition, but this bulgogi was very much a let-down.
The service was horrible, though and that alone would make me NOT go here ever again. My friends and I are not Asian, and I feel we were ignored. We were not given things that other tables clearly received (ex. eggs to crack and stir into soup, water refills, etc.) AND we had to keep on asking for refills of the little side dishes ourselves! The servers lagged majorly in bringing things like water refills, spoons, chopsticks and napkins even though they were clearly on a table a short way across the room. (We were tempted to get things ourselves, but didn't want to be rude.)
HORRIBLE SERVICE though if you really don't care or maybe are Asian and/or really want good Tofu Soup then fine, go here.
