Blanc Burgers + Bottles opened in Westport about 7 months ago, and has been getting great word of mouth. I had heard about this place from my friends in the city and my co-workers out in the burbs. It certainly lived up to the talk. It is a rather small place with a limited menu. It has about 10 different burgers, but none of them are like your regular burger.
I had a bison burger with a spicy, sweet peppadew sauce on it that was out of sight. My fiance had a turkey burger with avocado. Both of us were very impressed with our meals. In addition, they serve sides 'a la carte' which is taken pretty literally at this restaurant - they each come in a little shopping cart. We had sweet potato fries that were good enough to eat forever.
A lot of small touches like that go a long way. BBB has an extensive list of beers - large and small, local and foreign. Additionally, they have a large wine list if that is what you are looking far.
All the talk about this place was right on the money, and we will be back.
