I recommend Ellis to anyone in town or local that has a large appetite, small wallet, love for BBQ, or all of the above. The portions are huge, and the price is great! $9 for 1/2 chicken & 1/2 slab of ribs.. $12 for full rack! Everything comes with corn on the cob, slaw, beans, and bread.
They also have their own Brewery that offers 5 different beers. The dark and hefewizen are great! The beer is $1.50 24/7 there!
Biggest downside is the crowd and the wait. Ellis is only open from 4:30-10PM .. and there is a 20-90 minute wait the whole time.. even weekdays. There are only a few tables inside, with more on the BBQ pit patio.
I was in Virgina over the weekend visiting a friend and was going to a comedy show that was located off Warwick. I asked a gentleman to give me the name of a seafood place and he mentioned Bill's Seafood.
