I live in Texas but while visiting family in Lafayette I stayed at Embessey Suites which was down the street so stopped in for lunch, this was at least 4 yrs ago but I never forgot how delicious my lunch was(chicken salad w/fruit and the best dessert items :-) and very comfortable and dressy lunch room. and I might add , the coffee was very good also. Needless to say I ate there every day for 1 week...
