O'Connell's is one of the better "dives" in Long Beach. The bartender is surly, but I think the regulars would complain if he changed. They make a mean bloody mary, perfect for the morning after a 4th Street pub crawl.

Oasis is a cool place. 3 pool tables, nice bar area, karoke, outdoor seating. Good spot in the back to play pool and relax. Too smoky but it is a bar. Could use a few HD tvs but overall a good place to kick back and relax.
