This is the best hotel and restaurant combo in Derby City. Amidst the cheezy restaurants on 4th street that make us look like times square, you will find what I think of as the best restaurant in the state. The rooms are small, but incredibly comfortable and romantic. The service is top notch. But enough about the hotel, the food is outstanding at the oakroom. It is expensive, but worth it. The 5 course menu is something everyone should try. This is my no fail place when my girl is mad at me, she forgets everything by the end of the weekend.
