I decided to give the missus a treat and take her to dinner at The Quarry. It basically is very basic. There is one very large L shaped room that serves as the dining room. There is also one waitress for the entire dining room. Needless to say, the service can be extremely slow. The waitress was a 17 year old girl and her inexperience was very obvious. The choices on the menu are somewhat limited. There are daily specials every day of the week. We both chose the Broasted Chicken and two sides. I had cole slaw and broasted potatoes. The missus had broasted potatoes and cottage cheese. As I said, the service can be extremely slow and the chicken is cooked when ordered. It was 25 minutes before the chicken arrived. There were 4 large pieces of chicken and they were downright delicious. The spices were tasty but not exotic. The chicken was completely cooked but still very juicy. The potatoes were also very good. Cole slaw is hard to mess up so that also was good. The price of the entire meal was only $6.25 each. Even with a 25 cent tip added it was an excellent time. The missus is luckyto be married to such a generous dude like me.
