People are always in the parking lot, making the restaurant look busy. First hint, that I mistakenly ignored, the people were in the parking lot not the restaurant. They were probably discussing where they should go for a GOOD meal and NICE setting. The hostess was lovely, the booths bench seats were torn, and broken. There were 4 of us all over 5'7" and we were lucky our heads were above the table. We ordered our food which included appetizers (2). One appetizer came out, the mozzarella sticks which were semi-warm. Then after 10 more minutes, the second appetizer, Spinach & Artichoke Dip came out, it was nice and hot. Immediately following 2 of our dinners came out, the Double Crunch Shrimp were luke warm and greasy. The other dinner was Three Cheese Chicken Penne, it was nice and hot. The server stated the other dinners would be right out. After waiting a bit more, we asked the server for the other dinners for the rest of our party. The server said it would be right out...again. Another 10 minutes, making this now over 25 minutes since the first 2 dinners were brought out, we asked the manager where our other dinners were. He responded by saying he had no idea, waved over the server and then told the server to assist us. Needless to say, we were right back where we started. The difference this time was the server asked us what we were waiting for. Eventually, we got the other 2 dinners. One was the 9 oz. Steak, it was done very nicely and tasted good. The other was the Riblets, or should I say Riblet. There were 2 tiny riblets, and the server said that is all that came with the meal. The table next to ours had Riblets and they had a plateful. Unfortunately, we had an inept server, and a manager who could not manage. We asked for refills on our drinks, that too was a painful experience. I have been to many Applebees, and never have I experienced anything like this. I would not recommend this specific location to anyone. APPLEBEES NOT GOOD IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD.
