I visited Basil's restaurant in downtown Minneapolis just once, but I would look forward to visiting again. The food was delicious and a bit upscale, as was the atmosphere. The proportions of the food were a bit less than I would have liked, but it was still tasty. The interior of the restaurant I also found to be very modern and a bit unwelcoming for my tastes, but at least the wait staff was cordial.
