I ate once at Joe's Garage because of its close proximity to my college downtown between classes with some friends. The atmosphere was fun, somewhat funny and kitschy yet eclectic and modern at the same time. We ate on the second floor of the restaurant overlooking the park. While I liked the view, the restaurant was extremely crowded with barely enough room for the wait staff to shimmy between tables or for you to scoot out of your chair.
Joe's Garage is a great place for everybody. Early in the day, for lunch and dinner, they serve up sandwiches and salads, and families with kids are perfectly happy there. In the spring and summer, and even into the fall, as weather allows, they open the rooftop bar. Great place to sip a cocktail and enjoy some fresh air and conversation.
