About Nicollet Island Inn

The Nicollet Island Inn has stood witness to over a century of change on the shores of the Mississippi River. The Inn is consistently named the most romantic restaurant in the area and its river views have been voted some of the best in the city. An immediately recognizable Minneapolis landmark, the Inn offers world-class cuisine created by executive chef Adam Droski, whose innvative and constantly updated menu includes a variety of seafood, steaks and gourmet specialty dishes. Nic's bar, just off the main dining room, is a casual, olde-world tavern and the patio offers stunning views of the Minneapolis skyline. The Inn is a convenient, comfortable destination for breakfast or lunch meetings while the 5-course Champagne Sunday Brunch is the perfect weekend indulgence. Newly refurbished banquet rooms are perfect for weddings or corporate receptions of up to 150 guests. Traveling patrons (or those weary from an elegant meal) can luxuriate in one of the Inn's 24 guest rooms.

I LOVE the Nicollet Island Inn's restaurant. I go here with my grandparents at least once or twice a year. The food is really reasonably priced, but very delicious and the staff are wonderful. You have a beautiful view of the river and the Nicollet Island area from the dining room, which is classy with white linens on the tables. My absolute favorite however is sometimes the restaurant carries a creme brulee with fresh bananas in the custard. It is so good that we always order two.
