About Edison Ballroom
The Edison Ballroom has a long and colorful history. It was originally opened in the 30¯s as the grand ballroom for the Hotel Edison. It was constructed in the classic ¯art deco¯ design, and offered dining and dancing to its patrons, while featuring many famous bands and singers from the ¯Swing Era.¯ In late 2007, the space was renvated, while retaining a portion of its unique ¯art deco¯ design. The Vision was to offer the highest quality food and entertainment to its patrons. The venue has been renamed ¯The Edison Ballroom¯ to conjure up some of the former glory of this venue.
