Maspero's location on Decatur makes it a favorite with out-of-towners. Tourists line up for lunch and dinner on weekends due more to convenience than quality. Locals, however, do not eat here. Their muffaletta sandwiches are a pale facsimile of the real thing. Service is slow, especially during peak hours. Credit cards are not accepted, making it inconvenient for those traveling with little cash.
Great prices, great service, DELICIOUS menu, and it's right around the corner from me! This place is a real dining experience, not to mention a very reasonably priced lunch buffet.
