“... But the food is inconsistent (I've only liked my entree once), and BEWARE of forgetful, disinterested waiters - you have to ask them twice to bring anything! Last night the waiter couldn't properly describe my entree (and I would never have ordered it if he had, that was $20 down the drain), forgot my husband's second glass of wine, brought us the wrong appetizer, forgot my husband's diet coke, and forgot to bring us our side of fried brussel sprouts too... |

This is another gem from Anthony Mazzola, the focus is on wine and food to go with it. Last night I was told that they are up to 700 wines on the list, it is fantastic. The food is Italian, on the same lines as 'cesca. We started with the mixed olives and some Prosecco. I tell you that was a great start. Then we went with the salumi: mortadella, sopressata and prosciutto di parma, all perfectly sliced and delish. For my main dish I went with the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. The pasta was beautifully al dente and the scallions added a crispness and freshness that enhanced the flavors of the sauce. It's my third time there and no disappointments. Very glad I went there last night.
