What a friendly place. I live upstairs and hit it up a lot for wind-down drinks or on the way home from work. The owners are great and always remember me. Nice to have that friendly touch.

Love Chocolate and love wine so love this place. Good selection of chocolates and they give you pairing suggestions too. But the problem is that most of the pairings suggest sweet wines. I ended up asking the server to suggest regular wine to go with the chocolates and she did me proud.

My fiance and I recently celebrated an anniversary here and were so excited when we discovered they have a private room. I have been hunting for the perfect place to have our rehearsal dinner, and though it's not the most accessible neighborhood, I really love the place. It's romantic and the whole wine and chocolate thing is the perfect idea. I just know it's the type of place my family, who is not from New York, will adore. It's a little on the pricey side, but the food is excellent and their wine list is stellar. I only wish that they could transplant ie closer to our wedding spot. The only thing that I would change in the restaurant itself is the fact that there is only one restroom, which more than once during our dinner made for a major traffic jam, Also, the music was pretty loud. It could have been that we were underneath the speaker, but either way in such a small place I don't think it needs to be so loud. Anyways, those things will not affect us since we are going oto be in a private room!

The meal in Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar was a wonderful experience. I'll just tell you I am a incredible food obsessed. Well... Yesterday I ate at Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar in NYC. Now I am orginally from London but have actually been to NYC a ton of instances. My partner and I absolutely love the variety of bistros. I thought Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar to be classy completely, from the decoration through the presentation. The staff at the restaurant amazingly great!The space is modern and somewhat lovely. The evening was spectacular. One of my own gripes was the plating wasn't that amazing. It was okay however failed to offer you that amaze element. Even though virtually no genuine complaints. From the 2 starters 2 entrees we ordered, I'd personally say 3 as outstanding and just one as pretty good The cost was what we all expected though maybe a couple of $ overly pricy. Also was to see a NYC eating place devoid of too much demeanor.
