I tried both the saigon banh mi (pork) and the pate banh mi. You can request for it to be spicy (ie with Sirachai chili sauce) or not...

This place is really really random. It's really located inside a crystal store, almost like an afterthought...

It's really lo. There are a few benches to sit in here, but don't mistake it for a sit-down restaurant, it's definitely built more for takeout service...

So fresh and such an amazing deal! All of the ingredients are of high quality, and the best part is the very thick crusty on the outside soft on the inside baguette they use! I hear Momofuku Ssam's banh mi is good, but if you want a cheap (under $4) sandwich from a tiny more "authentic" feeling place in Chinatown, go to Saigon...
