It's called dumpakht. You won't find it many other places -- just try searching Google. Despite its rarity or perhaps because of it, I would put Banjara's dumpakht in the top 10 meals I've ever had in my entire life. The best way I've been able to describe it is kind of a curry pot pie topped with naan instead of a pastry crust. I've seen my friends try to order other food there with varying success. All I can say is there no compelling reason to go there apart from this signature dish, and it's on that alone that I give the entire restaurant 5 stars.

Well... Recently, on a business trip I ate at Banjara in NYC. I happen to be from London however previously been to New York City a considerable number of times. My spouse and I really enjoy the diversity of dinning establishments. Wait staff at this restaurant surprisingly awesome!The space is modern and somewhat lovely. The event was excellent. One of my things had been the presentation wasn't that remarkable. It was decent although failed to offer you that "omg" vibe. Now the the level of quality as well as quantity of food was superb. Regardless of that no true issues. From the two or 3 starters -n- Two entrees we ordered, I would say 3 as exceptional just one as really okay The cost was basically what we all expected although maybe a couple of $ too pricy. Go today prior to when the viral buzz becomes insane.
