Went there for dinner last night around 6PM. Place was already packed. I was accommodated promptly. Host / Co-Owner was very friendly and he navigated me through menu. I choose Prix-Fixe, three courses for $25.00, each course few choices. Started with home made hummus and grilled pita bread. It was so fresh and perfectly done. For main course I had pomegranate glazed Sea Bass served with spicy carrots and cilantro, it was so good that fills like melting in mouth. At the end I had Baklava with pistachio and freshly made whipped cream, you must try this traditional Turkish delicacy it is like to die for. They offer special wine with Prix-Fixe menu, Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Grigio, both from Napa Valley, each $6.00 glass / $20.00 bottle. For quality of food and service, this is great, great deal.
I Ate:
- Hummus: Fresh and delicious ($5)
- Pomegranate Glaze Sea Bass: Melt in mouth ($15)
- Baklava: Best I ever had ($5)

Moved to the area recently and noticed that I had the choice of about 4 Italian places on the same block. Tried Al dente but didn't love the service. Went to Bello Sguardo right across the street and loved it. They had 3 menus (regular menu, specials menu and prix fix menu). The prix ifx was a steal. For $19.95 I got three courses. Red lentil soup was scrumptious (and huge). For the second course I went with the roasted lamb (also quite tasty) and dessert was this amazing cheese cake. I'm looking forward to the next meal at this NYC bargain.
I Ate:
- Prix Fix: Delicious ($20)
