Needed a plac e with outdoor seating since i had my dog with me and happened upon Bistro Citron. What a pleasant surprise. We were the first people there. As we sat we were greeted by our server (I think her name was Kelly) who was friendly and asked if she could bring some water for our dog. That set off the lunch on a positive note. We ordered the ham and cheese (and creme fraiche) crepe as well as the steak sandwich. I gotta say the crepe kicked the sandwich's butt (not that it was bad, but the crepe was delicious). The creme fraiche counteracted the saltiness of the ham. The cheese made it super decadent. I barely touched the greens that came along with the crepe. The steak sandwich was good and the fries that came along with it were just irresistible. Really good frites. One more thing worth noting, the bread served at citron is just perfect. Warm, crunchy on the outside and just doughy enough on the inside. Only change I'd make is I'd ask them to serve the butter a little softer to make it easier to spread.

    I Ate:

    • Ham and Cheese Crepe: Delightful ($9)
    • Steak Sandwich: Good (with some killer fries) ($14)

I have gone to heart attack heaven. The frites at Bistro Citron are close to nirvana. Crunchy, thin and accompanied by the most delicious bernaise. Steak was slightly over cooked, but the parts that were perfect were delicious. I am so glad I have leftovers for tomorrows "Steak and Eggs"

    I Ate:

    • Steak Frites: Slammin' ($27)

My meal at Bistro Citron was a first rate experience. So... Recently, I went to Bistro Citron in NYC. I'm orginally from New Jersey although previously been to N.Y. a ton of occasions. My spouse and I adore the uniqueness of dinning establishments. I discovered Bistro Citron turn out to be elegant entirely, from the style through the presentation. What a enjoyable and satisfied mealEveryone at the restaurant incredibly great! The service was remarkable. The order arrived quickly. Certainly one of my things would be the preso was not that amazing. The idea was fine though didn't present you with that amaze vibe. The quality and also amount of food was excellent. Even though no true issues. Among the 2 starters Two main courses we ordered, I probably would rate 3 as exceptional -n- 1 as pretty decent All in all Outstanding food! The cost was what we expected though perhaps a couple of bucks overly expensive. Also was to go to a NYC eating place devoid of excessive attitude. I am a huge lover of the place. We will be back soon.
