I like Candle Cafe although things can quickly add up. The best dish and the only reason to really visit is the Seiten Steak. My soon to be in-laws, dire meat fans, actually enjoyed it and their meals!!! The desserts aren't very good and neither are their drinks but the regular menu is pretty consistant and good.

- Seiten Steak: amazing. I've gone back at least 5 times for it. ($20)

So let me start by mentioning I normally don't review restos. Well... Recently, on a business trip I visited Candle Cafe in Manhattan. I discovered Candle Cafe as classy all the way up, from decor through the presentation. Service at this particular restaurant astonishingly pleasant! The service was exceptional. Now the quality and amount of food turned out excellent. The price was basically what we all anticipated although perhaps a few $ too overpriced. Also was to experience a NYC establishment with out a lot demeanor. We definitely will be back again soon.
