Most people know Tom Collichio as the bald co-host of Top Chef, but he made his bones in the restaurant world with the Craft restaurants, offering new American cuisine in a variety of locations. Chelsea's Craftbar is a slightly more affordable joint than the flagship steakhouse Craft, but the artistry is on full display. I ate a short rib over polenta that was absolutely flabbergasting - the meat melted off the bone. My companions had nothing but praise for their meals as well. Decor is standard issue, but who cares - you're there for the food.

Recently, on a business trip I ate at Craftbar in NYC. So I am from SF although have actually been to N.Y. a bunch of occasions. My spouse and I absolutely adore the diversity of establishments. Precisely pleasant and enjoyable dinnerWait staff at this particular restaurant was so awesome! The vibe was remarkable. The order showed up amazingly quickly. Regardless of that no true issues. From the 2 starters -n- 2 entrees we ordered, I probably would say 3 as remarkable just one as pretty okay My husband and I had a fantastic evening! So refreshing with there being countless NY eating places that are awful. I'm a big lover of the place.
