Right around the corner from Momofuku is this incredible little restaurant. To say the cuisine is Italian is unfair, the chef combines Japanese aesthetic and technique to create the most amazing Italian inspired dishes. Recently, their menu has expanded to have more of a Japanese flair with sushi and sashimi selections. Chivas (one of the servers at the restaurant) pays great attention to detail and will make sure you are well taken care of. Also nice, the wine list with very reasonable prices. I expect great things from Dieci in the future. I estimated on the prices of the food.

    I Ate:

    • Crispy warm fluke sashimi: perfect ($8)
    • Calf liver sashimi: amazing ($8)
    • Spicy lamb ramen: great ($8)
    • Custard: Get the custard, best part of the meal ($8)
    • Vegetables: Amazing ($8)
