El Centro has some killer food. This is not the place for you if you are looking for Chevy's. Come here for their amazingly comforting (and filling) chicken pozole soup, you'll be full for hours. The short rib tacos, super tasty. The rice and beans, hard to resist. Yum.

I tend to forget about El Centro for delivery since they are not on seamless (even though I love eating there). I've been there a bunch of times and always liked the food. The pozoles are very tasty and filling (so go easy on this dish). The margaritas are made quite well. Today I had them deliver (link is on their website) the burro hellicioso. It was huge. It was slightly spicy and super tasty. It fed me for lunch and dinner. It is also much cheaper than Rosa Mexicano (which I enjoy, but feel is overpriced).

My meal at El Centro was a excellent experience. How to begin? Recently, on holiday I ate at El Centro in NY. Wait staff in that restaurant was incredibly awesome! The hospitality was remarkable. The order came out extremely fast. Certainly one of my personal things was the plating was not that incredible. The look was decent however just didn't give you that "omg" feeling. The level of quality in addition to quantity of food was very good. Me and my friend had a fantastic evening! So refreshing with there being a great number of New York City dining places that are lousy.
