However, we are unlikely to go back because while the service was good in terms of responsiveness to our needs, it was standoffish and we did not get a welcoming feeling from the staff -- we got a "look" despite tipping 22% in cash on a $100 bill, and not so much as a goodbye when we left, despite it being quite a small space...

My boyfriend took me to LeRefuge for our anniversary and we had an enjoyable evening ever. We enjoyed every part of our meal. First, we started with crab cakes and goat cheese salad that my boyfriend and I shared. The duck is awesome! We tried their Striped bass and Lamb chops which was the house special this evening. They were great and the bread was also delicious, soft as can be and perfect for dipping in your sauce. We will definitely be back and hopefully not only during our anniversaries. Love to spend time with my boyfriend at this very nice restaurant.
