About Mia Dona - Closed
Mia Dona, the newest outpost from Donatella Arpaia and Michael Psilakis continues the tradition begun at Dona, and celebrated at Anthos. Treasured dishes such as Psilakis' gnudi will make a comeback as well as new Italian favorites such as Florentine Meatloaf encasing an eight-minute egg, and a Crispy Fried Rabbit with salt and vinegar fingerling chips and a cucumber remoulade. The space, a chic, casual Upper East Side enclave is meant to evoke a Sunday supper at Donatella's home. Teaming again with designer Matthew Sudock who designed the original Dona, Anthos, and davidburke & donatella, Donatella establishes a palette of natural woods and white-washed brick with gilded details. The result is a welcoming place with artifacts from the previous Dona on display. Mia Dona promises to be a welcome addition to the Upper East Side featuring weekend brunch and even delivery, in addition to lunch and dinner service, proving itself the true abode housing the union of Donatella and Psilakis.
