As we made for the door there was our waitress Maria, still smiling and exuding such a positevly wonderful energy that my date and I were helpless in resisting a big goofy smile that carried us out the door and down the block!     My meal in Osteria al Doge was really a not bad experience. I'll just tell you I'm a a huge foodie. Where to start? Yesterday I visited Osteria al Doge in N.Y.. Now I am from NJ though previously been to New York a ton of times. I enjoy the great number of restaurants. Wait staff in that restaurant was so pleasant! The food was excellent. Without doubt one of my problems was the plating wasn't that amazing. It was fine though just didn't offer you that "omg" factor. The quality together with quantity of food was basically fantastic. My friends and I had a terrific evening! So refreshing as there are so many New York City eateries that are lousy. Also was to see a NYC eating place not having excessive attitude. We definitely will be soon.
