About Pelea Mexicana

Pelea Mexicana is pleased to invite guests on a festive ride through the bustling streets of Mexico, with a dynamic menu featuring unique takes on Mexicos diverse cuisine crafted by Chef Richard Caruso, formerly of Rosa Mexican. Peleas stellar tequila library features over a hundred carefully selected tequilas. Blanco, represado and aejo tequila flights are whisked tableside on wooden bandejas. Our happy hour is primed to dazzle downtown Manhattan revelers with all-you-can-eat tacos for $15, wood-baked chorizo queso fundido for $3, Mexican draft cervezas for $4 and a mouth-watering spectrum of $8 frozen margaritas. Hungry guests get front row seats at our communal counter taqueria as cooks press homemade masa tortillas, prepare a range of flavorful tacos and dole out made-to-order guacamole. A lounge area in front with a rotating cast of guest DJs keeps the party going into the night, while a Mariachi band is set to rock the fiesta on a recurring basis.
