Republic restaurant is a pretty good restaurant. I like the communal feel of the tables. Some of the ingredient combinations in the noodles are interesting too. If you're in the Union Square area it's a good place to stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Varied noodle dishes here are too much to finish, decor is somewhat funky-modern. It's just that sometimes needed to sit in a table with the stranger...sharing?
Wondering..how can I gossip if somebody else can hear me.But I love the inexpensive food.
