IF you are in the Lincoln Center area and are in the mood for decent Indian food and pleasant atmosphere, Saphire is perfectly acceptable. The mango martini tastes heavily of mango, the broti is up to snuff, and the lamb and chicken dishes are well spiced and not dried out. The service is attentive and helpful, and exceedingly well-dressed. For the price you can get better Indian I am sure, so this is NOT a destination restaurant, but if you are in the area, give it a shot. All in all, no complaints, but no raves either.
