When you enter Shiki Kitchen, you're greeted by Mr. Shiki, your waiter or waitress, and about a hundred intricate paper cut outs hanging from the ceiling. This little restaurant is incredibly friendly and, in my experience, will often give free small plates or sake when feeling particularly jovial. The food offers a lot of Japanese essentials, but the sushi is where they shine. In particular, the Brazilian inspired rolls use banana, mango, and other exotic fruits to great delight.
