About Smith & Wollensky

One of America's most successful restaurants, this New York steakhouse opened in 1977 and has been a hit ever since. It is one of the most trafficked restaurants in New York City and among the most celebrated steakhouses in the world. Specializing in fresh seafood and lobster and assorted steaks and chops, Smith & Wollensky is well recognized for its healthy portions, seasoned service staff and pop Americana ambience. The painted wood exterior is dark forest green trim on sparkling white, with latticework trim. The elegant interior has turn-of-the-century appeal and design elements including shining brass, dark wood accents and polished wood floors. Adjacent to Smith & Wollensky's is Wollensky's Grill. The Grill (entrance on 49th St) is open from 11:30AM till 2:00AM but does nt accept reservations.

Now let me begin by mentioning I generally do not give my opinon on restaurants. How to begin? Recently, on a business trip I visited Smith & Wollensky in Manhattan. I happen to be from San Fran but have actually been to New York City a number of occasions. My spouse and I really like the variation of bistros. Wait staff at this restaurant was so awesome! The decor was remarkable. The entrees arrived extremely fast. The level of quality along with quantity of food ended up being superb. Among the two or 3 appetizers Two main courses we ordered, I would personally rate 3 as very good One as pretty okay The cost was basically what we anticipated though maybe a couple of $ overly pricey. We all had a wonderful night! So refreshing because there are numerous N.Y. restaurants that are poor. Visit today prior to when the news becomes ridiculous.

How to start? Recently, on a vacation I visited Smith & Wollensky in NY. Everyone in that restaurant surprisingly great! The evening was spectacular. Amongst our things would be the preso was not that incredible. The look was good yet didn't provide you with that amaze feeling. Even though no serious issues. I am a massive lover of the place. Go right now ahead of the buzz becomes insane.
