You can come here and get a good meal at a very decent price. I've been there at least three times so far and have had great experiences. The food is always fresh and the service is attentive. Very good steaks and a nice choice of wines without breaking the wallet.

Sosa Borella is a nice surprise in the area. With many smaller lunch spots, this is a great alternative. It is cozy and comfortable for a relaxing lunch or dinner. Compared to other Argentine restaurants in the city, the food is prepared fairly well albeit a little pricey for what you get. For example, five very small empanadas set you back $9 at lunchtime. I am used to larger empanadas but their credit, these were tasty. I found my steak a bit overdone (asked for medium well).
Service was quick but not rushed. Just the right atmosphere for Latin cuisine.
I had expected a fusion of Italian and Argentine based on their website. I stood slightly corrected. The waitress had mentioned they consider the restaurant Argentine. I thought so once I took a good look at their menu.
Everything tasted authentic, with one minor difference. The chimmichuri was lacking in garlic. This isn't a bad thing considering it was much more mild. The ones I have had at other Argentine spots tended to be more spicy and certainly the lack of garlic on Sosa Borella's wasn't bad.
And to end the meal, panqueque con dulce de leche always hits the spot. All in all, a filling meal. Quite enjoyable and would recommend for lunch in Midtown West.

    • Hangar Steak: Good ($21)
