The unlimited sake deal is hands-down the best part about this sushi place. That's right - if you order 15 bucks worth of food (per person) between 7 and 10 pm, you get unlimited sake! And the sushi's not bad either. I have been here more than a few times, and I've never really been disappointed. It's hard to be disappointed when downing shot after shot of warm sake, though. But seriously - the sushi's not bad at all. There are a few very very tasty items on the menu. My particular favorite is the House Roll, which has these sweet, tasty shrimps piled all over it. The seaweed salad's pretty good too, and so is the soup. I also hear they do a good, large-portion lunch special. I can't confirm that, since I've never been there in the afternoon. The service is very nice - the waiters are very polite, and the food comes reasonably quickly. They also don't seem to mind me taking advantage of the sake special. I've had them bring 5-6 jugs of the stuff during the course of my meal and not bat an eye. The decor is very pleasant - low lighting, Japanese calligraphy, good layout. The bathroom is also very nice and pleasant, something I rarely comment on. In conclusion, even if you don't want to drink warm sake all evening, you'll still enjoy eating here. And it's fairly moderately priced. Not cheap, but still very manageable. A full meal shouldn't run you more than 20-25 bucks. The appetizers are where you'll be hit the hardest probably, with a seaweed salad running at 5 bucks, which I think is kind of steep. This place is also group-friendly, so if you have about 5-6 people with you, this might be a good place to consider. But it's equally good to bring a date there too - it's never very crowded. The only other downside is the location - the financial district isn't my number one nighttime destination. Then again, it keeps the place from being too busy at nights.

    I Ate:

    • House Roll: delicious ($12)
    • Seaweed salad: fresh ($5)
