Now let me begin by mentioning I normally don't review places. Where to begin? Recently, on a vacation I went to Taboon in New York City. I'm from London however previously been to N.Y. a ton of times. My family and I love the variety of bistros. Everyone at the restaurant amazingly nice!The room is modern and pretty. The decor was fantastic. The order arrived very quickly. Definitely one of our gripes was the preso wasn't that remarkable. The look was decent but just didn't ensure that you get that "wow" factor. Even though no true issues. Of the two or 3 appetizers & 2 entrees we ordered, I would say 3 as fantastic and 1 as extremely good We definitely will be back again soon.

Hot, sweet and faintly oily, the sfing are dandy as is, but we love them best with Taboon's house tea of mint, lemon verbena and sage served in short Moroccan tea glasses. Read More

Great Mediterranean spot that is perfect for a romantic interlude! Definitely start the Hummus and Sambusak, then have the Lamb Osso Bucco. Finish (or start) with a Sour Cherry Vodka cocktail.
