This place isn’t as hot as it once was, but it’s still worth a visit (and now it’s easier to get in). There’s an enormous two-story Buddha that dominates the restaurant that must be seen to be believed. The bar area is a bit small and can get very crowded with people waiting for tables. The food is very good and the desserts are excellent. I had the dumplings and the Chilean Sea Bass for dinner and both were wonderful. I loved the giant fortune cookie for dessert and it was more than enough for our table to share. The service can be a bit slow at times, especially while waiting for a drink. It was a great dinner and I would definitely go back.

Now allow me to begin with mentioning I typically don't critique restaurants. So... Last Week I ate at Tao in Manhattan. I found Tao as elegant completely, through the decor through the presentation. Wait staff at this particular restaurant incredibly nice! The dining room is clean and pretty. The event was exceptional. The order showed up amazingly quickly. The very good quality in addition to amount of food seemed to be to superb. Even though no serious complaints. The price was just what we expected though perhaps a few $ $ $ $ too overpriced. Also was to go to a NYC establishment devoid of an excessive amount demeanor. I'm a massive fan of the place. Experience this now before the buzz becomes ridiculous. We will be back again soon.
