I love it! My special friend will bring me there again this coming holiday and I am not expecting any less than being treated like a princess. Their American contemporary menu is awesome and with really high quality ingredients(fresh and pretty). Really perfect for very very special occasion. Every moment at tavern's is precious... :)

Where to begin? Recently, on a business trip I visited Tavern on the Green in New York. Wait staff in that restaurant incredibly nice! The hospitality was excellent. The entrees came out very quick. Regardless of that no true issues. Of the two or 3 apps 2 main courses we ordered, I probably would say 3 as great & just one as extremely decent Outstanding food! The price was just what we expected although perhaps a few $ overly overpriced. Me and my wife had a good evening! So refreshing because there are countless NY dining establishments that are poor. Also was to go to a NYC establishment not having a lot attitude.

John Lennon and his son Sean would sometimes celebrate their birthdays here. They shared the same birthday, October 9th. Max Leroy (son of the owner Warner LeRoy) was good friends with Sean Lennon.
