About The Stanton Social

Chef/owner Chris Santos has teamed up with Tao owner Richard Wolf, Peter Kane originally of Double Happiness and Happy Ending, and the James Beard 'Best New Restaurant Design' award winning firm AvroKo, to create the newest 'jewel' of Manhattan's Lower East Side. The design of this three level hot spot tips it's hat to the neighborhoodťs garment history and offers diners a culinary odyssey. All menu items are designed for sharing, offering guests a chance to experience multiple dishes and flavors throughout their meal. In addition to its 120 seats, The Stanton Social offers a raw bar, two lounges and the hippest new bar in New York City. Dishes range from $7 - $18 each.

For parties of 5 or more, please make your reservation directly with the restaurant.

ambiance

“...At last a hipertrendy place in NYC where food is very good and staff friendly and professional....

menu

“...Wouldn't it be great if you could run a business where you overcharge your customers, treat them like cr@p and not care when they complain? Well that must be what the owners of the Stanton Social feel like...

table

“... Although the menu explains the plates will arrive steadily, w. Our small table got crowded and the food started getting cold before we could get to it...

dishes

“... The theory is that sharing dishes, which arrive throughout the duration of the meal, makes for a very "social" experience, and thus the name of the restaurant, I suspect...

loud

“...If you inexplicably find yourself at 99 Stanton Street NY NY you should probably stop drinking so much but not before you order those French Onion Soup Dumplings and have a loud obnoxious tongue orgasm at the table...

“...Nearly a decade slithered by since Dinner Bitch last complained about New York. It was the best of times and it was the worst of times...
