The entrance is intimidatingly plastered with best-of awards, but it lives up to them, for the most part. I went there expecting a low key, hole in the wall-type place, and it was pretty much the opposite of that. The food was quite delicious - I had some kind of meat dumplings for appetizer, and lamb for the main course. Don't remember what it was called, because it was some Turkish word - sorry! The dumplings were a bit on the small side (really, they were quite tiny), but still filling. The lamb was fragrant and delicious. Their cocktails also deserve a mention - even though they were 8 dollars a pop, I had to have 2. They were that good. I recommend the vodka pomegranite one. The service was also top-notch - they had two waiters working on my cocktails right at the table, lock-step with each other. Quite impressive. I did end up spending over 100 dollars on myself and my date...it was a very memorable night, but I definitely wouldn't make a habit of coming here. It's best reserved for special occasions.

My dining event in Turkish Kitchen was a awesome experience. So... Recently, on a business trip I visited Turkish Kitchen in New York City. I found Turkish Kitchen to be posh all the way up, from the style through the presentation. What a stress-free and joyful mealService at the restaurant was very nice! The space is modern and pretty. The meal was remarkable. The food arrived very quick. Amongst my own issues was the preso was not that incredible. The look was okay yet just didn't offer you that "wow" feeling. Now the quality as well as quantity of food seemed to be to fine. The cost was what we all estimated though perhaps a couple of bucks too overpriced. We all had a terrific night! So refreshing because there are a lot of Manhattan dining places that are bad. Also was to go to a NYC dining place with out an excessive amount of demeanor. Go right now prior to when the news becomes ridiculous.
