Not quite a sit down restaurant, and not quite a takeout, WaWa is as eclectic as the village itself. The space is very small and become very crowded at times. It has a very minimalist theme, with white walls and wooden fixtures. 3 window-facing stool bars and 3 2-person tables are all the seating, so you may have to wait for it to rotate. All the food is prepared fresh, so cooking time varies from 3-10 minutes a dish. The place is not going for authentic Korean cuisine necessarily, but turns out a mean Bibimbop, kimchi fried rice, and spicy ramen soup. If you come regularly, the staff knows your name on sight and eventually even your orders. Don't cross them, though; the owner, a fastpaced British man, has little time for special orders or complaints. Come get your tray when your name is called, bring it back to the counter when you're done in a cafeteria style, and leave a small tip for the waiters in their jar.

Well alright to start by mentioning I generally tend not to give my opinon on places. I'll just tell you I am a huge Food person. Where to start? The other day I went to WaWa Canteen in NYC. I discovered WaWa Canteen as elegant completely, through the environment through the appearance. Wait staff at this particular restaurant was so pleasant!The dining room is sleek and pretty. The service was excellent. The entrees showed up quickly. Certainly one of our issues would be the preso wasn't that amazing. The idea was okay however didn't give you that "wow" element. The great quality in addition to quantity of food was superb. Even though no serious issues. From the two or 3 starters and 2 entrees we ordered, We would rate 3 as excellent -n- 1 as really good Also was to go to a NYC dining place with out too much demeanor. I'm a huge lover of the place. We definitely will be back again soon.
