Went to Zeytin yesterday. I was hungry and intrigued by the menu. Sat down and our server was the dullest person ever. No energy, no food suggestions, really seemed like she just did not want to be there. The place has lovely decor and an outdoor seating area which is a plus. Went ahead and ordered the Manti (little itty bitty lamb dumplings in a yogurt sauce as well as the Kasseri Cheese Kofte. The manti were tasty, but I'd suggest to the restaurant that they serve it with less yogurt sauce. They were drowning in it. A little less would have sufficed. The kofte took forever to reach our table (about 20 minutes after the manti arrived) The kofte were good, juicy. The best part of the meal was probably the complimentary olives and bread served at the beginning of the meal. Salty delicious olives in olive oil with a crunchy and delicious bread. With a little work and more enthusiastic help the place has potential. Prices were fine.

    I Ate:

    • Manti: Good ($8)
    • Kasseri Kofte: Good ($20)
