I recently had the opportunity to visit Lido's on Orange Ave. I wasnt sure what to expect from the outside appearance but I was very happy with what i found. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a wonderful ambiance.There is candles and flowers on all the tables and the service is wonderful. Most of the prices were very reasonable. They start you off with homeade breadsticks and salad which was very tasty. I ordered the Tri-colored tortellini and was very pleased because it was delicious but also had great portions. The wait staff was very helpful to me considering I had both my children with me (both being under 3). They gave my daughter a complimentary chocolate gelato because she had been crying. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will be returning soon!
I have been eating Marlins all my life. While it isn't Papa John's or Domino's, it has its own special little place in my heart. The LaMex is my FAVORITE!! (be warned...it's really different) I have a lot of childhood memories there. LOVE IT!!
