I am addicted to Lotus Garden - the food is absolutely fantastic. It's located by Nicklow's in Spring Lake Park and I drive WAY out of my way for pickup. The egg rolls are delicious!
We have patronized Joe's for years, ever since they started. Tonight ended that relationship. It began with a person who took the phone order and didn't pay attention to what my mother told them... and it ended with her calling as I listened (I have laryngitis, so couldn't talk). We were concerned because the driver didn't get as much money as the bill called for. It was raining and cold, so I handed him the money and grabbed the pizza. He's a neighbor; we certainly didn't want him to get in trouble or lose money on our account. The pizza we asked for was less than what the charge was, so that was the problem. The manager was rude and when my mother said "It will probably be the end of our relationship", he said "that's okay". Never again... and to top that off, ... and I'm not just saying this... the pizza honestly was not very good. I don't know what's happened to Joe's, but this was an overall bad experience. I just feel bad for our neighbor being caught in the middle.
