Everyone who lives in Philadelphia has their own favorite Cheesesteak place, mine would have to be Chink's. On Torresdale Ave in the Greater Northeast, Chink's has a small dining area with a milkshake bar or take out. You can preorder so your food is ready when you get there or sit down, have a steak, a real steak without all the craziness and wash it down with a hand dipped milkshake. Everyone here is very nice and when you walk in you are part of the neighborhood and family that keeps this place alive. It may not look like much from the outside, but Lord, those steaks just melt in your mouth.

I ate:

Classic Cheesesteak with Cheese and Fried Onions: Perfect. The meat was chopped, the cheese spread throughout and the roll toasted and glistening. ($5)
