First time visitor. Really enjoyed the experience. Good food, GREAT service. Even the birds on the patio were nice and friendly.

Description What a disappointing experience at this popular Pittsburgh downtown restaurant. Friends were taking me to celebrate my 70th birthday, which included dinner at Bravo Franco. We had reservations and arrived @6:35 pm. Started well with drinks, appetizer, and salads. Then....nothing. At 6:55 pm, we asked for the manager (who is the owner's mother). Food for four of us arrived at 7 pm. The fifth person in our party did not receive her food until 7:05 pm. Manager arrived at 7:10 pm. Told us we had plenty of time to eat, pay bill and walk to theater for production that started at 7:30 pm - friends that's 20 minutes!!!! When we complained about the service and was explaining the problem, she told us to stop talking and listen to her as the cook had seven chicken dishes to prepare, which was the reason her dinner was not served when ours was, and we would have plenty of time to eat, then walked away. THIS TREATMENT OF A CUSTOMER IS UNACCEPTABLE AND WE HOPE THE OWNER READS THIS. Needless to say, none of us nor our friends will frequent this establishment again. We were treated rudely. On the food side, the potatoes arrived cold, and the special had cold pasta under the hot chicken. WOW - some restaurant.
